8th graders become Microsoft Office Specialists

The Business Education department at the Escambia Career Readiness Center has participated in the Microsoft IT Academy program for the third year. The program was implemented in 2013 to enable students to earn an industry-recognized credential because certification acknowledges computer expertise, competency, and productivity. The Microsoft Office Specialist 2013 Certification series promotes academic preparedness and workforce readiness. The MOS Certificate is recognized by employers and schools worldwide.
