Red Ribbon Week Oct 24-28, 2016 National Theme: YOLO (You only live onece) Be Drug Free

WSNMS students enjoyed the activities of Red Ribbon Week.  Monday was RED RIBBON DAY and the 5th & 6th graders enjoyed an assembly with Buffy Coleman.  Tuesday was SOCK IT TO DRUGS and we saw many crazy and mismatched socks. Wednesday was HATS OFF TO BEING DRUG FREE.  Students wore hats or caps of all kinds.  Thursday was TEAM UP AGAINST DRUGS and team spirit was shown by wearing a spirit shirt or Neal jersey.  Friday was TRASH DRUGS.  Students made costumes out of trash bags and duct tape for a costume contest. This also concided with Neal vs. Miller week and was also used for TRASH THE TIGERS.
