Worked in Media Services for 28 years worked with the "Morning Show" at WTBF in Troy, Alabama as co-anchor for three years. (The most listened to radio program in Pike County)

Host of Coach Larry Blakeney show for Troy University Football for two years.

Co-hosted on the "Morning Show" at "The Power Pig" Radio as co-host for two years.

Host of the "Morning Wake Up Show" at WKNU FM for five years and was host of the "WKNU Sports Minute"

Work as  the "play-by-play" announcer for three state football championship games and the first state final four high school championships in Birmingham.

Rebuilt Repton School's girl's basketball program and returned it to a winning tradition, after six straight losing seasons before taking the hlelm.

Coached two players that went on to college basketball careers in the NCAA or NAIA

Developed the concept in team sport as referring to present and former team members as "The Family"
