My early education years began in the Escambia County School System as I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade in Flomaton. Upon graduating, I attended and received an Associate's Degree from Jefferson Davis Community College. I received my bachelor's degree in Childhood Education from Auburn University Montgomery in 2004. This degree certifies me to teach Preschool through 6th grade. I have completed most of my coursework to earn my master's degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama. When I finally complete my studies for my master's degree, I would like to continue my studies to earn a degree in either school administration or curriculum and instruction.

I began my teaching career in 2004 at W.S. Neal Elementary. My first year teaching, I taught Kindergarten. I taught second grade for three years and third grade for one year before transferring to W.S. Neal Middle School. I began teaching 5th grade at W.S. Neal Middle School in 2009 and I couldn't possibly think of a better place to be. Our school is a very special place with what I believe to be the BEST students and staff in the WORLD.  I truly love WSNMS and appreciate the wonderful family we have here!
